  • Protecting UMD from Heat-related Illnesses

    This video will provide you information on how we in the UMD community can protect ourselves and each other from heat-related illnesses.

    With the days getting hotter, we must use the right controls for preventing heat-related illnesses such as heat rash, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.

  • Electric micromobility vehicles in campus buildings

    In the first half of March, UMD experienced two fires inside campus buildings caused by electric micromobility vehicles. As stated in a Fall 2023 communication to campus and in other communications, electric micromobility vehicles (e-scooters, e-skateboards, electric bicycles, e-hoverboards) are not allowed inside campus buildings.
