The University of Maryland is committed to the principle that no qualified individual with a disability shall, on the basis of disability, be excluded from participation in or be denied the benefits of the services, programs, or activities of the University, or be subjected to discrimination.

In Focus

One out of five of your attendees is likely to have a disability, and as many as nine percent may have a severe disability.

Individuals under the age of 18 engage with the University in many ways beyond summer camps, including through internships, private lessons, workshops, and research studies. In recognition of this, the Office of Environmental Safety, Sustainability and Risk is developing guidance on how to best support youth as a unique population on campus.

Registration: All youth camps are required to register their program through the Office of Risk Management.
